Red Afro - at last!

We have been importing apparent solutions to try and solve the numerous problems and challenges that we have here in Africa. Those apparent solutions are not working and yet Africa is a “gold mine” of problems.

The setting up Red Afro Limited came about from years of discussions revolving around the building of software platforms specifically in regard to the African continent. It is clear that we in Africa will need to learn and use the appropriate technology to build solutions using software and hardware that solve our unique problems. Apparent solutions that are imported from other continents are not working.

Many of the challenges we face can be waved away with the right political decisions, such as removing of borders that were set up for exploitation and the implementation of zonal legal frameworks and languages that would foster better human interaction and economic integration. But before this happens, we need to build the infrastructure that makes these lofty dreams work.

We are not focused on anywhere else and we will not work on anything that does not have benefical social impact.
